Als hättest du dein Gefühl
auf einmal unwiederbringlich verloren,
wahrtest die Form nur noch
für eine Weile
(obschon etwas spitzig geworden,
zögernd zu anderen Zeiten).
Sehr Leid muss es einem tun
um all die
schönsten Worte und Küsse
von der Welt –
wirklich zu retten nichts
von dem Schwärmen?
Ich glaubte einst dran.
Das ist der Dinge Lauf,
orakeln die Weisen.

CELE MAI FRUMOASE CUVINTELE

Ca și cum ți-ai fi pierdut sentimentul
brusc iremediabil,
simtind doar forma
pentru o vreme
(deși oarecum ascuțita,
ezitanta uneori).
Trebuie să ne pară foarte rău
pentru toate
cele mai frumoase cuvinte și sărutări
din lume –
chiar nu salvam nimic
de la nebunie?
Am crezut în ea cândva.
Așa stau lucrurile,
prezic înțeleptii.
