Poem de dragoste / Love poem

Ziua în care descoperi
nesfârșita bunătate a morții
și valul de sânge începe să inunde o parte a lumii.
O, tinerii morți știu desigur mai mult.
Sub pielea de trandafir se află răspunsuri.
Amintește-ți:
pe o plajă murdară,
trupul unei femei adus de ape
și sufletul ei sălbăticit lovindu-ne fața.
Amintește-ți:
ziua în care am descoperit nesfârșita bunătate
și valul de sânge din care tinerii morți
fac semne celor de pe țărm…

The day you discover
the endless goodness of death
and the tide of blood begins to flood a part of the world.
Oh, the young dead certainly know better.
Beneath the rose skin lie answers.
Remember:
on a dirty beach
a woman’s body washed up by the waters
and her savaged soul hitting our face.
Remember:
the day we discovered the infinite kindness
and the tide of blood from which the young dead
wave to those on the shore…
