WE GROW ACCUSTOMED TO THE DARK \/ NE-OBISNUIM CU BEZNA<\/p>\n

We grow accustomed to the Dark \u2014
When Light is put away \u2014
As when the Neighbor holds the Lamp
To witness her Good bye \u2014<\/p>\n


A Moment \u2014 We Uncertain step
For newness of the night \u2014
Then \u2014 fit our Vision to the Dark \u2014
And meet the Road \u2014 erect \u2014<\/p>\n


And so of larger \u2014 Darknesses \u2014
Those Evenings of the Brain \u2014
When not a Moon disclose a sign \u2014
Or Star \u2014 come out \u2014 within \u2014<\/p>\n


The Bravest \u2014 grope a little \u2014
And sometimes hit a Tree
Directly in the Forehead \u2014
But as they learn to see \u2014<\/p>\n


Either the Darkness alters \u2014
Or something in the sight
Adjusts itself to Midnight \u2014
And Life steps almost straight.<\/p>\n

Ori Bezna se dizolva –
Ori a mintii lumina
Cu Bezna se imbina –
