Eating Poetry \/ Mancand Poezie<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ink runs from the corners of my mouth.
\nThere is no happiness like mine.
\nI have been eating poetry.<\/p>\n

The librarian does not believe what she sees.
\nHer eyes are sad
\nand she walks with her hands in her dress.<\/p>\n

The poems are gone.
\nThe light is dim.
\nThe dogs are on the basement stairs and coming up.<\/p>\n

Their eyeballs roll,
\ntheir blond legs burn like brush.
\nThe poor librarian begins to stamp her feet and weep.<\/p>\n

She does not understand.
\nWhen I get on my knees and lick her hand,
\nshe screams.<\/p>\n

I am a new man.
\nI snarl at her and bark.
\nI romp with joy in the bookish dark.<\/p>\n

\nMancand poezie<\/p>\n

Cerneala-mi curge pe la colturile gurii
\nNu exista fericire ca a mea.
\nAm mancat poezie.<\/p>\n

Biblitecara nu crede ceea ce vede.
\nOchii ei sunt tristi.
\nsi ea merge cu mainile-n rochie.<\/p>\n

Poemele-s duse.
\nLumina-i vaga.
\nCainii sunt pe scarile subsolului si vin sus.<\/p>\n

Pupilele lor se rotesc,
\npicioarele lor blonde ard precum o perie.
\nSarmana bibliotecara incepe a-si sterge picioarele si plange.<\/p>\n

Ea nu-ntelege.
\ncand ma asez in genunchi si ii ling mana,
\nea tipa.<\/p>\n

Sunt un om nou.
\nMarai la ea si latru.
\nZburd\u00a0bucuros in bezna livresca.<\/p>\n
