Por las ramas del laurel
\nvi dos palomas oscuras.
\nLa una era el Sol,
\nla otra la Luna.
\n“Vecinitas”, les dije,
\n“d\u00f3nde est\u00e1 mi sepultura?”
\n“En mi cola”, dijo el Sol.
\n“En mi garganta”, dijo la Luna.
\nY yo que estaba caminando
\ncon la tierra por la cintura
\nvi dos \u00e1guilas de nieve
\ny una muchacha desnuda.
\nLa una era la otra
\ny la muchacha era ninguna.
\n“Aguilitas”, les dije,
\n“d\u00f3nde est\u00e1 mi sepultura?”
\n“En mi cola”, dijo el Sol.
\n“En mi garganta”, dijo la Luna.
\nPor las ramas del laurel
\nvi dos palomas desnudas.
\nLa una era la otra

\nI saw two dark pigeons.
\nOne was the Sun,
\nthe other the Moon.
\n“Little neighbours,” I said,
\n“Where is my grave?”
\n“On my tail,” said the Sun.
\n“In my throat,” said the Moon.
\nAnd I was walking
\nwith the earth by the waist
\nI saw two snow eagles
\nand a naked girl.
\nOne was the other
\nand the girl was none.
\n“Little eagles,” I said,
\n“Where is my grave?”
\n“On my tail,” said the Sun.
\n“In my throat,” said the Moon.
\nBy the branches of the laurel
\nI saw two naked pigeons.
\nOne was the other
\nand both were none.<\/p>\n
