The Wild Flower’s Song<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As I wander’d the forest,
\nThe green leaves among,
\nI heard a wild flower
\nSinging a song.<\/p>\n

I slept in the Earth
\nIn the silent night,
\nI murmur’d my fears
\nAnd I felt delight.<\/p>\n

In the morning I went
\nAs rosy as morn,
\nTo seek for new joy;
\nBut O! met with scorn.<\/p>\n
