They beat out an endless<br \/> message of <em>\u201clook at me\u201d<\/em> and true, it is<br \/> impossible to look away.<\/p>\n<p>Other leaves broad, webbed, open<br \/> palms in mid-slap shiver on each side<br \/> of the road. The fanned branches<br \/> capture an engaging light, an easing<br \/> of the sun into its horizon.<\/p>\n<p>All the miracles that haven\u2019t healed me<br \/> are off the bus. All I have to do is<br \/> step down and breathe.
