Gut ist der Stein,
gut ist der Stein f\u00fcr mich,
Seine helle Oberfl\u00e4che ist abgeschliffen und hart.
Ich trage den Stein in der Tasche,
er st\u00f6rt mich nicht
und spielt sich nicht in den Vordergrund.
Der Stein t\u00e4uscht keine Freundlichkeit vor,
keine Sympathie
und kennt keine schlechte Laune.
Der Stein kann nicht sprechen,
er krittelt nicht an mir herum,
er liegt mir nicht auf der Tasche,
und kl\u00e4rt mich nicht auf \u00fcber Demokratie.
Den Stein kann ich wegwerfen,
wenn er mir einmal zu schwer wird.
Dann ist er nicht b\u00f6se und nimmt
nicht blutige Rache,
mein guter Stein.<\/p>\n

it doesn’t lie on my back,
and it doesn’t teach me about democracy.
I can throw the stone away
if it gets too heavy for me.
