Nimm sie, vor deinen Augen,
die gr\u00fcnblasse Welt,
Apfel sehnsuchtzernagt bis ans Geh\u00e4us!
Ich hielt ihn z\u00f6gernd in H\u00e4nden.
Lang fiel goldbraun das Licht,
malte Schattenstriche darauf.
Glaub deinen Augen nicht,
glaub dem Mund!
Ob ich den Apfel
zur\u00fcckgeben kann?
