A TUTTE LE DONNE / TO ALL WOMEN / TUTUROR FEMEILOR

Fragile, opulenta donna, matrice del paradiso
sei un granello di colpa
anche agli occhi di Dio
malgrado le tue sante guerre
per l’emancipazione.
Spaccarono la tua bellezza
e rimane uno scheletro d’amore
che però grida ancora vendetta
e soltanto tu riesci
ancora a piangere,
poi ti volgi e vedi ancora i tuoi figli,
poi ti volti e non sai ancora dire
e taci meravigliata
e allora diventi grande come la terra
e innalzi il tuo canto d’amore.

TO ALL WOMEN

Frail, opulent woman, matrix of paradise
you are a speck of guilt
even in the eyes of God
despite your holy wars
for emancipation.
They smashed your beauty
and there remains a skeleton of love
that still cries out for vengeance
and only you can
still cry,
then you turn around and still see your children,
then you turn around and you still can’t say
and you keep silent in wonder
and then you become as big as the earth
and you raise your song of love.

TUTUROR FEMEILOR

Femeie fragilă, opulentă, matrice a raiului
ești un graunte de vinovăție
chiar și în ochii lui Dumnezeu
în ciuda războaielor tale sfinte
pentru emancipare.
Ți-au sfărâmat frumusețea
și a rămas un schelet al iubirii
care tot strigă după răzbunare
si numai tu poti
încă plânge,
apoi te întorci și îți vezi copiii din nou,
apoi te întorci și tot nu poți spune
si taci de mirata
și atunci devii mare cât pământul
și îți înalți cântecul de iubire.
